A blocked or narrow artery may require a percutaneous coronary intervention (PCIs) ‒ a non-surgical technique that uses a balloon catheter carefully threaded up the artery and sometimes combines stent insertion. PCIs are performed in Durdans’ state of the art bi-plane catheterisation laboratory where better visual imaging guidance enables higher accuracy and superior patient outcomes for block removal and stent insertion in heart arteries.
